New brass first firing

I have always started at 28 grains of powder when starting out with new unfired 6br lapua brass as it is apparently hard on new brass to start at max loads. Anyone ever start with new brass at their normal accuracy loads as in say 30 grains? Does it have a huge effect on brass life?

I normally use my standard, worked up load that I shoot for fire forming, when I need to start replacing brass in any given cartridge. Often I find the new brass being fire formed, this way is just as accurate as when I reload it.
