New Berger data for 25 Creedmoor

2550 elevation mostly.
Using Berger's twist rate stability calculator and plugging in the 134 ELD-M info at that elevation using 2850fps which is probably fairly conservative it says an 8tw is fully stabilized down to 1500ft even lower then that it only says it's losing 1-2%

Thanks much!
I never searched enough to find the length on the eld-m, blue collar didn’t have it listed.

That would probably be a better option than the straight 7 twist then?
3 groove barrels also I believe.

The 25 Creedmoor is now officially a SAAMI spec'd cartridge and they used a 7.5tw test barrel.

One of the things I like about using single point cut barrels like Bartlein or Krieger is with regard to twist they can make you about anything you want versus button rifled you're limited to whatever twist button they have on hand.

I think if I was going to do a 25 Creedmoor I'd go with either a 7.5 or 7.75tw that way you could shoot the even longer and higher BC 135 Berger or the new Hornady 138 A-Tip. I have some of the new 138 A-Tip and they're a wicked looking 25 cal bullet. They look like a ballistic missile just sitting in the box.

B23 thanks for all your help, very good information that I was needing. Maybe Hornady and other’s will post load data now that it’s Saami.
