Anyone heard anything on this?

I was told today from a dealer he ordered some new 22 caliber bullets that were 85 or 88 grains from Berger. Supposedly a hybrid that will stabilize in an 8 twist.

Mid .550 bc.

He seemed to have all the specs on them but I can’t find anything online about them.

This bullet has been rumored to be in development, then beta testing, for some time now. I have no direct knowledge about it, but it's certainly conceivable it could be ready for sale by now.

Must be ready for sale then.

this guy had placed an order already but we’ll see how long they take to get.

Two weeks ago here in Oregon the Canadian Shooter already had some for his .223 Palma Rifle .
He offered to show them to me ! I refused no interest in .223 .

I want them for a 22BR.

.223s and heavies are fun, I’m guessing I may not have the freebore for anything over an 80 in my .223 but I have a blast shooting g the 80s our of it!

Bullet does not have to be longer to be heavier ...Berger knows better than anyone what twist is required . In your experience how well did your 80s and 80.5s shoot in your 8 twist ?

In .223, if it's anything heavier than a 69gr, my twist is going to be 1/7~something. I've found the 80.5's may or may not shoot in a 1/8.
