New athlon Argos 10x40 benchrest scope?

Has anybody had a chance to shot the new athlon Argos benchrest scope?

Just got it on Friday and put it on the gun, first look I liked the reticle and how fine it was along with the hasmarks , I did a track test and it was spot on ... then I shot it at upper power and after a shot the scope went into a complete haze , I then shot it again and same result , I had another guy shoot it to confirm I wasn’t crazy . I went ahead and took it to the long range 300-500 just to see clarity if it did work and was hazey and at 390 yards the parallax was set on 50 . Long story short I’m returning this scope

Yeah Argos is their cheap line of scopes. Wouldnt trust them for any serious work. The Argos glass is amazing for the money, but I also had issues with a 5-30x56 Argos. It broke down under recoil on a 6.5 Rem Mag and wouldn't hold zero. Athlon customer service was excellent and they had me a new scope right away, but now I can't bring myself to trust the Argos on rifles with significant recoil. Plan is to allow the new Argos to live out its life in peace on a low recoiling varmint rifle.

I recently bought their next step up in quality for that 6.5 Rem Mag, the Midas BTR 4.5-27x50mm. Good SFP reticle, excellent glass, and better turrets than the Argos. Just have to see how it holds up under recoil. Hopefully the Midas does a better job.
