What retailers have it at that price? Please pm me if you don't want to broadcast itI seen also Arken had a price increase, looks like the 7-35 is no longer less than $600 from Arken, but online retailers still has them at that price. Wonder if it would be a good idea to buy a couple at the low price or will there always be a sale or discount on them ??? I know where a new one is on the shelf at a lgs for $570
About everywhere I looked, Did not pay attention to which ones was in stock though. I will look again. What retailers have it at that price? Please pm me if you don't want to broadcast it
Arken Optics EP5 Gen 2 7-35x56 FFP
Looking to upgrade my SH-4 GEN II with improved glass quality and parallax yardage accuracy. On my current scope parallax yardage is less than advertised for all mid-ranges. Is this improved on the EP5? I expect if I dial 300 yds at 300 yds to be fairly close to being in the same focal plane. Will I also see the clarity difference of the glass?
Thanks for your feed back,
Thanks Rob for your response. I am not expecting dead-on but I would expect it to be close. My Vortex is way closer on this issue than my SH-4. I know I can custom mark the yardages. Any suggestions on a kit to do this cleanly? I would even prefer if they just put engraved white lines. Then I can grease pen the yardage marks as I see them. Just pointing out the only two issues I found with the SH-4.The marks on the parallax knob are there for reference. Not to tell you the range. That’s why some scopes just put dots or lines. Don’t expect it to ever line up. Some may be close but it’s not something to judge a scope on.
