new 8.75-8.3 Gain Twists from Keriger.

Old thread, but who has tried this barrel?
Does it work, sea level elevation, 80-90 degrees f?

Assuming it is a gain from 8.75 mid barrel to 8.3 at the muzzle I would expect it would be fine based on the Border Barrel calculator. At 80F, stability should be a bit over 1.3 at the muzzle. This assumes it stays supersonic all the way to the target, and I expect it would to 1000+ yards. See bottom graph at this link:

We are shooting 8.5 twist Bartleins at an altitude of 12 feet above sea level in 6Dasher without any problems at all.

last year i got 1 from MIKE DAVIS, used it in the 6x47L.worked out just fine!! i'm going to use it again at williamsport, try one ,think you''ll like the result's(less pressure,and a little more speed) good luck dogdude
