A friend contacted them and she is still top secret.
But they did not deny the project and wanted to know

LOL...............

I kinda figured it was TOP SECRET......

I guess we`ll just have to wait and see........

If I recall correctly a couple of guys from Sierra shot at the match we had in July. As the were picking up trophies I heard some say " I guess those new bullets shot well". I thought maybe it was a the new Dtac but maybe there's something else in the works.

I sent an e-mail, so lets see if they will comment.

Just called the Tech Support and was told NO COMMENT !!!

It's always good to see companies work on releasing improved products...
That being said I SURE hope they run the production on only one machine so we aren't having to sort each box into 5 different lengths, weights, etc due to major inconsistencies between bullets.

Man guys they were just in Lodi. I was behind them leaving! I wish I would have read and asked them.

I can only bet they will suggest a even faster twist. Should make 8 twist more available.

.600 would be wicked..... and still work in a 1:8twist. that would for sure make a 6mm top dog.

the 95gr tmk are rated at .500bc so it could be possible
The new DTAC's are .620 and stabilize in an 8" so it should be very doable. More high BC 6mm options would be great!

I heard just the opposite and according to D.Tubb, the NEW 115 dtac has a longer bearing surface and a 7 or 7.5 twist is needed.
The old dtacs will work in some 8 twists

I don't know where you came up with that. This is a quote from Tubb's himself and I've seen him quote it several times about the new bullet.

"The new DTAC 115 RBT testing is complete and can claim the following;
G1 1000 yard BC of .620.
Stabilized out of true 8 twist or faster barrel at velocities approaching 3000 fps at Sea Level."

I can say the 7.5 workers better then the 8 at longrange . Larry
