New 6br guidance

The top score shooters have reached a different conclusion (IBS 200/300 Nationals, 2016):

I don't think he is shooting at the nationals, if his top competitors are shooting 22br and 243.

You make a very good point. I have a match in a couple weeks. I may ask what very one is shooting at the short range matches.

Also I agree, why compete if you don't plan on winning. I may just have to suck it up get a 6ppc and just learn. I'm sure in the long run ill be glad I did
I compete on occasion, it is for FUN. If I ever planned on winning, I would stay home and watch football instead. If you plan on shooting enough to get to the nationals, where everyone shoots a ppc, then join that club. If you want to outshoot your buddies, and stay on a budget, you don't need hall of fame hardware.

Not to get get to far off topic, but I just realized Norma has 6ppc brass. So with that being said it would be no more work than loading for 6br
Looks Like I"m the devil's advocate today. If you use the ppc because the pros do, you might want to ask how many of those pros use out of the box brass. Lapua makes 220 russian brass so the top shooters can taylor their brass to the firearm. Norma makes ppc brass for everyone else. You either prep your brass now or rebarrel for a tight neck when you reach the higher levels.
