bullets.com has the new SR scope listed on their online catalog. 4 of them are being tested by Texas SR shooters. When the weather breaks we will have a report.

Wow, I was guessing NF would be first out of the box, way to go March.

Is that a parallax adjustment I see on there. That is the one thing that all of the purpose built AR scopes out there are lacking.

Coach, thank you for starting the thread

Here is the initial report I lifted from the NM forum, more to come from 3 other shooters whose rifles are equipped with the March scopes. This is was reported by Keith, one of the shooting members of the TSRA Gold team. At Camp Perry 2015, TSRA Gold placed 2nd behind the Marines on the Rattle Battle ahead of the US Army AMU, and 2nd behind the AMU in the Team Trophy, ahead of the rest of the military teams.

"Just got back from the range with the March scope. Unfortunately the weather was too bad to do any shooting, but I wanted to look at some targets. I got about a 15min break in the rain to look through it at 200, 300, and 600. It was heavy overcast, but not too dark.

As you’d expect the glass is great. I could see the scoring rings and numbers at 600, but couldn’t read the numbers. The scope can be focused down to 6ft, my estimation, out to infinity. The windage knob goes from 0, R1, R2,…R12 in one direction and 0,…L12 in the other. 12.5 min in each direction. I’m sure I’ll end up putting a hash mark at about 11 o’clock on the scope body and zero it there so it’s easy to see in position. The clicks feel about like my SR iron sights, just with shorter distance between them.

As mentioned the dot in the reticle is “smallish”. It’s tiny. In the white the dot is easy to see, but on dark faces it’s a bit challenging. On a day like today thank goodness for the illumination; it looked really really nice. Illuminated it was very easy to see and it was well defined, unlike some of the cheaper 2-3 min dots I’ve used where the dot isn’t very sharp and is too large.

At 600 on a dark target it wasn’t too tough to see the dot without illumination. I could put it in the X’ring and actually see the ring around it. That made it sort of standout when it was in the center. With mirage I'm sure it'll look a lot different. It did look good illuminated though, and I would have gone with that in a match.

My 200 & 300 yrd targets got wet and in that case the illumination was really needed. Don’t forget a spare battery. I held the rifle a little bit standing in a 15 mph 9 o’clock wind. Illum was a must with so much movement and a dark black. If it didn’t have the illum I probably would have tried something like a 6 o’clock hold in the white. Holding in the white right on the edge of the black is something I want to try with this. Can’t believe I’m saying that, but with electronic targets without rings and the ability to get the black in sharp focus I think it may work well.

The reticle focus has a locking ring. I don’t know if most high end scopes do, but it’s a nice feature.

The illumination has 4 settings. Indoors 1 or 2 work best. Outdoors I used 4 and would likely always just go with that. Indoors 4 is a little bright.

Here’s a pic. Base is a G,G,&G that I milled off the back of the picatinny. Rings are Seekins. Centerline height is 1.32 which works well for me. I relief is good with NTCH.
About all I have for now.

Look forward to checking the tracking and seeing the reticle on a bright target with mirage. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Have to applaud Shiraz, being a good businessman he understands new product introduction - time to market is time to money. He made the investment and had scopes available without drama in the internet.
