New 20Cal barrel, 10 or 11 twist HV. What's the best?

Just after a new barrel for my 20 ppc. Going to shoot the 39-40 Gn.
Who's got a good barrel at 28 inches.

3rd on the 11t, 10t doesn't buy you anything, 9t if you want to shoot the heavies.



Also please post your results with the 20PPC, I looked long and hard at one before deciding on the 20BR, I'm getting 4300fps with the 39g BK out of a 26" barrel, I'm really curious how the 20PPC will do.

Thanks for your advise, will go with the 11 twist
Who is making a quality 11tw barrel at 28 inches? will go with the HV taper
Also any ideas on a supplier or stockist, with out the long wait!

The one I have is a Kreiger, HV taper, bought it from Bruno's with no wait.

Currently waiting on a call from Bartlein to try thier offering in .20 cal.

Southern precision rifles sell for $315 an 11 twist Muller works barrel. I have one chambered as a 20 tactical and it SHOOTS! These are button rifled and all mine are cut, so I was a bit hesitant. Borescoped it and I would have bet it was cut rifled...smooth, no tooling marks, etc. This was my first excursion into 20 cal and l' m enjoying it...a # of powder goes a long way!

I don't have any experience in a Mullerworks barrel but my shooting partner has one in an 11 twist 204 and its a tack driver. I think bugholes (SPR) does have them in stock

I have a pac-nor as well and it is 11 twist , it shoots better than I can.

All Pac Nors....just don't be in a hurry...
