New 20BR.......in pieces......

Finally after a 12 week wait..my pre fit Savage Pac Nor tube arrived.....its 28" long to fit my Savage large shank Target action.....no taper...barrelled action weighs 9# 14 oz....has a 9 twist 3 groove...scope is a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 SFP mounted with Burris Signature rings & bases...stock is a Choate Varminter....brass is Norma 6BR reformed to 20 BR...Dies are Redding & Forster....boolits of choice are 40 V max & Berger 55s....p/dogs beware......... ;D

hi, i was wondering about making 20 br brass. do i get 6 br brass neck it down with 20br die and turn my neck. i have been wanting to do this. i was also curious about barrel life, and i really like your project. thanks joel

I used 6BR Norma brass..then 22BR FL sized...trimmed...then on down to 20BR in my bushing neck die....got 40 rds out so far...burning RE17..H380..Varget..4007ssc...w/55s.......
