New 17 HMR ammo..HOT, HOT, HOT

Sorry to hear you haven't given up on the B-mag yet...
I had one and decided I WAS going o make it shoot... Shilen barrel, Boyds bedded stock, 36x Leupold. All in a benchrest shooting situation. Even bolted into my rail..
simply could NOT get the thing to shoot worth crap. I started pulling ammo apart ( of course could only get Winchester ammo , had 10 boxes 4 lots ) and, the heavens opened, trumpets sounded and the choir sang. Powder charges varied from .1 to .3 Grs. That is an unbelievable amount in such a small case. I called Winchester and they told me to send them some of the ammo. Had 5 rounds sent to them from each lot. NOT A WORD FROM THEM SINCE.........
I called back and the person said they never received it. When I provided a tracking number and a signature name, Humm, we don't know what happened to it. I called Hornady and they said they ABSOLUTELY were not going to make 17 WSM ammo. Same story from CCI. I think one or both are now making it and it may be out there somewhere... ONE THING FOR SURE.. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR IT..

Sorted one brick into 5 different groups and shot 5 different 5 shot groups at 50 yds. in my Savage they ranged from 5/8 to .190 was pleased. Hope when i sort the next couple of bricks i can find more of the same good size.
