New 10-10 scales

I am currently waiting for an Ohaus 10-10 to arrive and I wanted to know what steps I need to take to level it? Are we talking about the surface the scale sits on, or shimming the scale body or? I have seen pictures of scales with levels mounted on them as well bases the scale sits on with regular levels or target levels. Any other useful info would naturally be appreciated. THX!!!!
The base leveling adjuster is on the left as shown in the picture.
I had to adjust my counterbalance to achieve these results.
