I suppose there's a few of us SKS fan-boys around here. Nobody seems to want to admit it in the wrong circles. Heck, these days, it's probably less shameful to "come out" as a tranny.

That's understandable since this is the "Accurate Shooter Forum". SKS's aren't gonna win any contests for most accurate, but they are plenty of fun, and plenty adequate for plinking, defense, and deer sized game within their effective range.

I have greatly enjoyed the ones I've got, and the fun was for real. And Dusty, you must have a real lemon if yours has never functioned as intended. And since it has no bayonet, you're really screwed. jd

JD i got a bayonet taken off a Panamanian troop during all that BS in the early 80's that might fit your rifle.

It has a grenade sight on it though! Its really what i call an ammo saver. Like a bolt action just slower

Back in the day an uncle had an ffl and bought a bunch of them. I never saw a bigger bunch of garbage than those things. One of them would dump the entire magazine with one pull of the trigger. Didn’t want one then and I don’t want one now. Speaking of $100 investments, we should have all bought Amazon stock back then.
