Our family certainly does not, may they rest in peace.... JohnNEVER FORGET THIS DAY.. Tommy Mc !!!
Nor forget ten hours later they attacked the Philippines. Even though MacArthur was warned he did nothing. Then for some BS reason the US government awarded him the Medal of Honor.NEVER FORGET THIS DAY.. Tommy Mc !!!
In the immortal words of Admiral Earnest King, "Sometimes you have to call in the sons-a-bitches".Even as bad as MacArthur was. We could use him today! He would not be afraid to tell Biden to put it where the sun don't shine. Afgan pull out would not have happened that way! Where are Chester Nimitz, Chesty Puller, George Patton, And all of the other Generals and Admirals of days gone by?
Unfortunately MacArthur was not in the group you mentioned. He told his boss of he and his crazy plan for the Korean War were fired.Even as bad as MacArthur was. We could use him today! He would not be afraid to tell Biden to put it where the sun don't shine. Afgan pull out would not have happened that way! Where are Chester Nimitz, Chesty Puller, George Patton, And all of the other Generals and Admirals of days gone by?
My great uncle Donald served in the Philippines and got the trip on the Bataan March. He survived, but carried a deep hate for "Japs" and rice. He also carried a daily reminder of the ordeal with the seven bayonet wounds in his back and ribcage. I guess that might make a guy hate? JeffMy uncle Earl served under MacArthur in the Philippines. He loved him "because he got rid of those damned mules and got us Jeeps".
My uncles (2) were killed in the Bataan Death March .I know they were walking. No jeep, no mules, and no MacArthur. My uncle Earl served under MacArthur in the Philippines. He loved him "because he got rid of those damned mules and got us Jeeps".

He survived, but carried a deep hate for "Japs" and rice. He also carried a daily reminder of the ordeal with the seven bayonet wounds in his back and ribcage. I guess that might make a guy hate? Yeah, sort of. Even though WE were bombed by a sneak attack the USA had to draft 60% of the soldiers. They leave that out of the history books also."A day that will live in infamy." Was a terrible blow to USA, but we responded..
