Neo X disapointment

After over a year wait it finally arrived. Opened box and was blown away by the beautiful
workmanship. Beautiful red and a work of art. Started to change it to left hand use and
couldn't figure it out. Looked through the little brochure and could find no mention of
converting to left hand. Ok going to a match tomorrow so will take along and let some
of my talented friends and gunsmiths show me what I am missing. Well crap....they
couldn't figure it out either. One guy started studying the brochure and found a small
sentence that said "Can be ordered in left hand configuration." Well rats! Now to
call Earnie.

Besides the coarse height adjustment, what makes it right or left handed?. I am right handed yet use my left hand to work the joystick which is right in the middle.

The big knob that moves it up and down.

I'm in the same boat, you'll have to order a left handed model to use it left handed. Or you can have the 2 legs facing you and turn the top portion around. I use mine right handed
(with the height adjustment on the left) set the coarse adjustment once and your all good. There's alot of travel in the new Neo-x

You need one of each.



From looking at the picture of both of mine together. It seems like you'd need to turn the posts around so that the teeth are facing the opposite direction and then turn the lifting portion around

Maybe it is just me, but I am left-handed and fail to see to see the problem. I use a Neo-X that has the big elevation lock knob on the left side when the single leg is towards the target. Once I set my rest up I control the ruff elevation with my left hand (which I also use to pull the trigger) and steer the rifle with my right hand using the joy-stick. I have my right hand on the joystick all the time until I fire & then start to reload. I have always assumed all lefty’s do this.

The Rodzilla rests run the coarse adjustment on the right side so this would seem left handed to me.

Should'nt be a problem either way with that nice long rod that
comes with it. Mine has a slight ball end on it and the rod could
easily do a rough adjustment with a left or right hand.

Thread title was to get attention and hopefully keep someone else from making
the same mistake that I did.

I still fail to see the mistake from anything other than purely cosmetic. The up/down knob is for rough adjustment so it would seem to me either side is fine and since left side is standard for right handed shooters, resale would be easier should you ever want to sell it. If I was super concerned about cosmetic, I'd be more concerned about ordering the wrong color. Meaning you surely don't want it to clash with your stock, that would be all sorts of wrong.

I honestly think I would like it better if the main adjustment know was on the other side. I like being able to make the course adjustment with a hand on each while looking through the scope. I was used to my T rex and now my new Neo X seems backwards. I guess I should have ordered it what they call left handed even though I'm right handed.
