Neo X bag

Shot my Neo X today nice rest, one thing I noticed there is a lot of torquing in the L shape bags. I know this has been discussed before. Anyone making bags for the Neo X? Thinking something besides the L shaped bag may cut it down. Tightening the sides did help some.

I just recd my Neo X and I have both sets of bags from Seb, I’ve only shot off the three piece bag set up and I think it works nice if you don’t fill the bottom bag too firm. I’ve yet to try the two bag set up that is included with SEB Neo X. I really like the 3M silver material on the Protektor bags that we have.

Mine only shipped with the L style bags. (2 Piece). Did you order / ask for the 3 piece also?

They ship standard with the 2 piece L shaped bags empty. What did you fill them with?

You need to order the 3 piece one extra. And he has 2 different 3 piece configurations.

Yes I ordered the 3 piece bag as well. I think it was $90-110

I ordered the F Class Products bags, not real happy, they velcro in place (side and bottom), if you are shooting 2 guns with different width stocks this is a pain in the butt! Not real happy with this at all.

I received mine 2 weeks ago the stick on velcro is a deal breaker for me as well.

I make the one pc bag, two pcs "L" shape bag, and the 3 pcs bag (with side sand bag) for both the Neo-X and the Mini-X. No tools is required and less than one minute to swap between the bags, and all these bags sit firmly on the top.
Just fill the bags with your choice of sand, a bit hard (from 1 to 10, I would say fill it up to 9 or almost very hard on the sides, and around 7 on the bottom) and a moderate side tension (just firm enough the rifle to not move from side to side during recoils).

I am sorry to know that you are having problem with the L shape bag!
However if your gun torques a lot with the L shape bag, I would think it would also torque the same with the one pc or the 3 pc bag.
Does the same rifle and load combo not torque the same using other rest/bag setup?
If so then it must be the L shape bag, and please accept my apology for that!

I have the L bags and haven't noticed any torque. Biggest I've shot on it is 30BR though. I would say Seb's firmness numbers are spot on.

Nor have I. I love the L shaped 2 piece bag set. I’m not a fan of the 3 piece bag set. I was getting a ton of vertical with the 3 piece bag set, switched out to the 2 piece L shape bags and the vertical was immediately cut in half.
