Need tripod info

There a guy on You Tube that uses the handle, "Coyote Down". It features a guy, his wife, and young daughter shooting coyotes. I'm hoping to find the brand name of the tripod he uses.

Which one? Just from scanning some of his videos he uses different ones. In one of his videos he's definitely using a Manfrotto head. In another he's using a full RRS setup (tripod and head).

Which video were you watching that you had questions about? In another video he has one that looks like he painted it. I didn't really look closely to see what it was though.
If you post a link to a specific video then it would be easier to help you narrow down your search.

But if you just want recommendations, then the Really Right Stuff (RRS) equipment is great. Expensive, but USA made and great quality.

If you want other suggestions, I would say Gitzo and Manfrotto. They have both been in the tripod game for a very very long time with camera gear.

There are plenty of Chinese brands now too that mimic the above manufacturers. You may or may not want to support them but there are several Chinese brands who have a large following. Leofoto is probably the biggest, but also one of the most controversial for designs that are VERY close to the stuff RRS has put out.

Not for Shooting Tripod…Our private range provides access by vehicle to our shooting pad so weight of my spotting tripod us unimportant. I bought one of those surveyor tripods. Blow wind blow, I don’t care. I have it mounted to articulated in universal directions with azimuth readings. Not exactly portable or quick to set up but worth it.
