Short Tripods - Coyote Hunting

For a hundred bucks, a Bog Pod is a pretty good option.

When I transitioned from Harris bipods, the Bogpod was the next step, & I had great luck with it, & more versatile on hill sides.

One change I made was to cut 2 wedges of ethafoam and taped them to the sides of the rest for a snug fit on the forend. Held it tight enough to not have to hold the gun, but easy to grab & go if need be.

alf,

Does yours have an interchangeable head? I'd like a wedge/fork like yours pictured, or the option to use an Arca attachment.

Mine's the older model, not the quick change style.

I don't use it any more, as I stepped up to a better tripod/ball head arrangement, with the option of a Hog Saddle or Arca plate.
