Looking for recommendations for a muzzle brake for a heavy barrel 308. Last one I bought was a Holland and a Vais. Don't need to break the bank on this. Scorehigh has one for 179.00 installed plus shipping back. Any ideas or thoughts.

Heathen is an excellent brakeI shoot indoors, frequently, the booth side walls can really raise volume for a lot of brakes. Overall, I'm pretty sensitive to loud noises (outdoors too), and I'm always using plugs and muffs. I've tried the 419, Jet Blast, the Little Bastard, and a lot of the other common ones. They're all too loud for me. Horizontal first ports seem to be the most hearing friendly. I like the Heathen, they're currently on sale at On The Mark Tactical - https://shop.otmtactical.com/insite-arms-muzzle-brakes.html
