Need some help on .223 chambers...

How tight is that neck in terms of factory ammo? Seems pretty tight compared to the Wylde. I don't know what a tight neck is or isn't on a .223 but my .204 is a no turn that cannot chamber factory ammo.

Quality ammo can be custom loaded from Copper Creek. I bought some from him while waiting on my loading gear. He will load anything you want at reasonable prices. I would say it's better than factory and if you want to do the load development options with him it should be as good as any handload.

I would prob find a factory round I want to shoot then send it to the smith to cut the chamber for the best match to that round. If your factory choice mics out wider at the neck than the chamber you will have trouble. I know Gregg T can cut a chamber to best match a factory round so I assume your guy can as well. You
Might end up with a custom reamer but you will have the best chamber for your chosen factory ammo. Otherwise you are better off going match chamber and ordering custom ammo to take advantage of it.
