Need some help.. 22-250AI

If i was to get a barrel chambered in 22-250AI and wanted to shoot berger 52gr varmint flat base bullets out of it what twist would i be needing or what twist would fit that best?

1:14 twist shot one ragged hole with my factory gun with berger 52gr.. not sure how or is a custom barrel would chage that... i got lots of 52gr bergers on hand...

A 1:14" will do fine, but I would suggest a 1:12".

There is a trend to longer bullets and many of the 55gr. plastic tipped bullets prefer the 1:12".

My 22BR has a Shilen 1:14 on it. The 52 gr. Berger Varmint is my bullet of choice.

I have a 1-12" Lilja that is chambered 22-250AI that loves the 52gr Berger ahead of IMR8208. Still fireforming but the accuracy is great!

Bugholes nor brunos has any... i dont really want a barrel that looks small in the stock... see what happens.

4150?!!! Hows barrel life at that speed?!! Seems like that would burn em up!

No it won't last long but it sure is fun. I will slow it down soon, I think, maybe.
