Need more shoulder bump. Special shell holder?

I just started reloading for 6ARC, and with a standard shell holder and Forster sizing die I can’t get enough shoulder bump. I have ground down a couple other shell holders for other calibers, but I was wondering if anyone sells shell holders that have dimensions equal to those that have been ground down, for this case scenario. I don’t feel like grinding this down like the others. I do it rather crudely, and I would rather have it completely squared to the face of the die. It seems rather common. Thanks in advance!

I use these ... they're awesome.

Unfortunately, those go the other direction. They add distance from the base of the head to the face of the die, not subtract.
But as always, I appreciate your input!

So many people don’t understand this. I have had a multitude of shell holders machined off but if you don’t need much just take a piece of sandpaper and set it on a piece of flat heavy glass or a piece of granite or flat steel and take enough off to do the job. I myself bought a new set of Lee shell holders and had a friend machine them all off so if and when I need more bump I have what I need.

Seems to be a lot of 6mm this or that with not enough bump.
Aren't MOST shell holders 0.125" high?
I have various 30 cal, 6.5 Swede, 6.8, 223 sizes and never have I run into not enough bump.
Hornady, RCBS, Redding dies.
How does a go gage fit into your die?

Standard shell holder, (measure first) chuck it up in a drill press OR a drill motor big enough to hold it, then run it down on a well oiled sharpening stone. Measure till you have removed enough to get your job done. They come out like they came from the factory that way. Stash the "cut/ground" holders in a pill bottle so they don't get mixed up. Worked for me. ;)

The drill press idea is awesome! Thank you

The last caliber I had to do it for was 224 Valkyrie. I still have the ground shell holder when I do load it. I can’t remember what other caliber I had to do it for years ago.

If you have adjusted the die down 1/8-1/4 turn(instructions) from touching the shell holder, and the case will not chamber properly (case is in saami length). It's a chamber or die problem (possibly both, buy a lotto draw) in factory rifles. Verify chamber, than call Forster. I don't mix brands of die/shell holders. A measure able difference should be seen with 1/8 turn down die adjustments from touching the shell holder.

When you say you can't get enough shoulder bump what exactly is leading you to that conclusion? Are you having any difficulty chambering your reloads?

What type of press are you using?

Granted I have never loaded the cartridges you cited but I have loaded a lot of different cartridges a lot for different rifles over 50+ years and never had to modify any shell holder using standard RCBS Full length sizing dies to size a case.

However, I have never used a Co-Ax press so that if you are using one of those perhaps it has something to do with that and I will defer to Co-Ax press users.

It’s funny that you should mention using the same brand of shell holder, because I normally work on my rifle cartridges with my coax. It won’t size enough on that either. That is why I am moving to my other press with the shell holder,on a T-7 press, to remedy the problem. I’m afraid if I send it to Forster, I will be waiting along time to get it back.

I have used my coax, and my T7. Even when the die is screwed all the way down on both, the sized piece of brass can’t be chambered, using finger pressure in my bolt carrier group, in the upper. Now that I think about it, every time I needed to grind down a shell holder, it was using Forster dies.
