Need Kimber diagram

Have a Kimber,old company, not Kimber of america) Model 82 rimfire. Seems to have a design flaw or mfg process mistake.

Cant pull the bolt without removing the trigger assembly. I think it needs a ramp ground on the underside of the bolt to depress the sear, which would allow bolt removal.

If anyone has or knows of an exploded view or other info, it would be appreciated.

May not even be close, but was reading the Kimber area of Rimfire.com site and they talked of a rear screw, perhaps trigger guard or something in that area that would bind when the screw is to long. Cure was to grind 2-3 threads. hope it helps but you may want to go to that site.

Just got back from my smith's place, he was amazed. We could have milled a ramp, but decided to leave it be for now. the bolt stop on the side of the receiver was deemed inadequate for the force of bolt operation over a long period of time.

Yes, the bolt does hit the top of the sear, and there is no apparent cure.

I'll get to the bottom of this somehow,halfmile goes wandering off into the wilderness).

Rimfire central - great site. got an answer, and 2 friends had the same. Pulling the trigger hard, working the bolt release, and removing the bolt briskly does the job.

Online manual only said use bolt release.
