need help

my stock is hitting my barrel in 2 places it is a bell&carrollson medalist on a rem 700 xcr LTR.what is the best way to fix it? any suggestions.

Two options :

[*]Dremel the stock where it need
[*]do a bedding leaving enough space between the stock and the barrel

You can also do 1) and then 2) if the accuracy is less than required.

thanks should it not touch until i hit the piece between barrel and action?

The entire length of the barrel should not touch the barrel channel. I like to be able to slip a business card through all the way to the recoil lug.

thanks for replys i sanded it so now i can slip 2 dollars put together all the way down to the lug.
