Need help with old .225 Winchester ammo.

Hi there,
Just bought dirt cheap an old box of brand new .225 ammo. Now I know WW loaded the .225 from 1964 until 1972, but is there a way to obtain a precise date from the pictures I just took?
I don't think I'll shoot that ammo but I'll probably disassemble it, anneal the necks and reload it for my 1965 Winchester 70.
Thanks for your attention.

Why disassemble?

Maybe forward your photos to Winchester and if you are very fortunate, maybe a customer service person who loves arcane old odd stuff could look up the lot #. But honestly, doubtful.

Why disassemble? I'm not into collecting and I have cold feet at the idea of shooting 51 year old, high pressure ammo.
Primers and powder may have aged badly and I still remember an old batch of new Norma .220 Swift ammo that had most of the necks split on firing. New .225 cases are welcome in my inventory: it's become a pain to trim and turn the rims on 7-30 Waters cases.

Ok, but I doubt you will have any issues. But I see your point.

I’d shoot it. I had a 670 225 win for a while some years back. Shot good and worked well. Wish I kept it. It was cool. Brings back some memories
