I need some help on Peterson vs Lapua 6BR brass. I shoot (I should say try to) IBS 600yd competition. Last fall I was down to my last 500 new Lapua cases and couldn't find any more but found 500 of the same lot Peterson's and got them in, put them up and made it through the season with the brass I was using. I had Mike Davis make me a fire from barrel with my BRA reamer and run it in . 002 short and every spring I shoot prairie dogs with the new brass I am going to use for the season. Getting ready to go after the dogs and got the Peterson brass out and was going to start loading up and weighed a few cases, very consistent. But, they all weigh 138grs, the Lapua cases all weigh 128! That's a hell of a difference! What I need to know from some of you guys who are using or have switched between the two what to expect here. I don't know whether to use my last 500 Lapua cases and sell the Peterson or start from scratch and work up loads based on the new cases? Kinda caught between the devil I know and the one I don't, need input from some who "been there and got the t-shirts, thanks John
