Need help identifying a barrel

I bought an AR National Match A2 upper that I am converting to A4 configuration for optics use. The barrel is stainless, heavy match contour, has relief cuts to use set screws to adjust the front sight base, but the only markings on the barrel are “W8S” stamped in front of the barrel extension. Any one know who may have manufactured this?

Just did a little looking around, it looks like it's probably a Wilson barrel blank. They apparently mark them in a Chamber/Twist/Steel format. So W = Wylde, 8 = 1:8t, Stainless (W8S) markings.

with those windage flats its probably from White Oak and yes he sells Wilson barrels among others.

The seller identified the upper as a White Oak Build. I called them to get verification and was told, “Many people claim that their uppers are ours”. So maybe it really is. Does White Oak Loctite the crap out of their builds? The reason I ask is that I had to heat everything that was screwed together to separate it. The amount of adhesive on the float tube was impressive.
