Need a way to search past pm’s

I thought I used to be capable of searching my PM’s using keywords?
that may have been on a computer instead of a phone?
Just wondering if my technologically challenged self is missing something?

Ok Folks, turns out there are two varieties of Conversation search -- requiring two different add-ons. I have installed and activated the search functionality for non-Admins.

Click on the PM icon (envelope icon). When that opens look at bottom left. It should say "Show All".

Click on "Show all". On the screen that follows you should see a button titled "Conversation Search".

Click that.

Interested party here. I went to "show all" but find no 'Conversation Search' button on my Android phone's Chrome rendition of the page.

PS Neither do I see such a button on my Windows PC running Chrome browser.

As far as I can see, they already are sorted by date.

Yes, they appear to be sorted by date descending (newest first).

Thanks! I've wished for this feature several times, but never bothered to inquire.

This got a little confusing. This thread is about searching within Past PMs. I think you are referring to general forum-wide search results. If you need to sort the forum-wide search results by date, you need to use the 'Advanced search' option and select 'Order by: date'.

Bingo. In "conversations" I just did a "titles" search and, sure enough, the results are ordered by date, descending, just as for a "contents" search.

Yep, the question was about searching my “inbox” where PM’s go. Issue is fixed and working as of about 4-5 hrs ago. Thank you.
