Need a program to determine MAX ranges

Our local NG base is concerned with the maximum safe range needed for different cartridges we shoot on their ranges.

I need a program or Excel friendly formula that I can use to determine the max range for different cartridges that takes in account BC's, MV's as well as all other external ballistic variables.

Sierra Infinity programs....It will tell you maximun range and what degree the muzzle must be pointed to achieve the max. I know the the I5 and the I6 versions have this function. Not so sure about the earlier versions.

Are they wanting to know how much distance past the targets the bullet could fly? Thats a long way. With large cal VLD bulets, this could be over 4 miles and further as altitude increases.

4xforfun is correct, Sierra infinity will show this and also allow you to enter and create custom bullet data for the latest LVD bullets not in it's database.

QuickLoad with QuickTARGET Unlimited will also provide this information.

Thanks, the Sierra program gives max ranges and the muzzle elevation to reach that distance.

I need a program that I can input a specific muzzle elevation angle and get the resultant maximum range.

I called Sierra and they say their program will not allow this.
