Need a new powder dispenser. Help me out.

There are several programs available to re-program an R C B S. The one i use gives me 20-22 grains very fast, 6 grains at a slower speed and the last grain on a trickle. It can drop 28.5 gains in 16-20 seconds
Don't forget the McD's straw or bushing trick that offers much greater accuracy than a CM straight out of the box.

Ditto. I've played around with my settings a good bit. I'm throwing 28.5 grains of N133 in about 12 to 15 seconds right now with overthrows being almost non-existent. I'm not going back to dropping and trickling any time soon. 4 charges per minute is plenty fast. If my Chargemaster takes a crap, I'll buy another.

As side note, going with a dedicated 12V battery is nice for loading at the range. Since I made the conversion I don't use the 120AC to 12VDC wall adapter at all anymore regardless of where I'm doing my reloading. @gunsandgunsmithing...thanks Mike.

Without a code change my Chargemaster was at @17 seconds per dispense of powder. It was mind numbing.
I am less than that with a beam scale and trickler.

Each to his own.

Inaccurate, the R C B S has greater capabalities, and is re-programmable

Who says? I mean, That is not what the reviews say?

From Amazon:

"Some people reported issues with overruns, but the trickle mode and speed can be fully adjusted and I noticed those overruns myself after the unit arrived. After I reduced the trickle speed and moved the point when the trickling starts to 1.5 gn before target (instead of the default 0.5gn), the unit works flawless. "

Are you referring to the Hornady, or R C B S ?

My RFD and Harrell powder measures work just fine:p

I have a Harrels and 2 Bruno's, which also work well. The problem is you cannot get between loads depending on the type of powder. Ball powders are O K , they SUCK with VITH and most other stick powders.

A powder trickler takes care of that;)

i own a harrell powder measure. a true work of art. so smooth. a pleasure to work with. find a load with a 0.5 sweet spot and dropping charges with a powder measure is the fastest method i have found.

but if you are going to trickle on a scale anyway you might as well use lee scoops. lots less expensive than a harrell powder measure.

if you want fast and accurate there is only one. Adam's Autotrickler system.
