Neck turning

Nope. I thought that was the one, Webster. It's this one.

Joe, I recognize your name. Are you not a friend or acquaintance of this gent?
He proofed our first Long Range 1,000 yard Diopter prototype for us ay Quantico, and in appreciation, my Dad presented him with Type PS Diopter #1 off the production line. I made a presentation box for him on the CNC

This was a huge deal for us because almost 4 years ago now it was accepted by the Swiss SSV as being sanctioned for all Swiss international competition.

I'll post a report on how we do with the Mitutoyo, and thanks for the help, gents!

Hi, Latigo,

Absolutely! CDR Bob Steinberg was instrumental in getting me started with the Navy Team when I was stationed in the Washington DC area in the early '90s. I was shooting as an individual Navy entry in the Interservice Rifle match at Quantico with a locally issued Navy M14 Grade B match rifle that had about 5000 rounds through it when Bob saw me and asked me why I wasn't shooting with the Navy Team. I guess I looked confused and in need of help. He took me up to the Navy van and told the Navy armorers to issue me a better rifle. Everything got better from there on. :-)

A couple of years back I was in Switzerland on a work assignment and they found out I was a shooter. I got invited to a local Swiss match and had a great time!

Great story Joe! If it was a Swiss match, then you shot 300m, right?
This is Dad's board, but he's long since retired now. He's just there once in a while......... http://theswissriflesdotcommessageboard.yuku.com/
That memorial at the top is for Dad's best friend who passed away just 4 months ago.
I'm a Mod there and this is my forum.... http://theswissriflesdotcommessageboard.yuku.com/forums/21/SwissProducts-Discussion-and-Support

We're very heavily into reloading here in Lost Prairie. Dad's been doing it since 1959 and he's always specialized in the 7.5x55 cartridge. He trained me well, but I'm here now to learn all about my final step in case prep....... neck turning. Once I'm into it I'm sure I'll have questions for Ireload2 and others.

Thanks for the reply, Joe.
