Neck Size for 6mmBR LaPua Brass

Curious as to how far down everyone else is re- sizing their necks on LaPua Brass, I just neck size( about 3/4 down) using a .268 bushing and only do a FL with a shoulder bump when they grow a bit, otherwise great results with no problems just curious as to how far down the neck other folks are going. Thanks and standing by...

I screw down the die untill it contacts the bushing, then back it off 1/4 turn. Im using .269 bushing. Almost no neck tension. I load long and let it seat bullet deeper when chambering the round. This way seating depth is same on every shot even as barrel wears. Has worked great for me. Was tought this by a long time shooter

JB10, just askin here. Have You never had a Fail To Fire or a Cease Fire that required the case to be removed from the chamber, dumping the powder in the chamber ? Your method is very appealing to Me, except for the concerns mentioned. This “may” have contributed to an action explosion I witnessed. Any experiences You can offer to these concerns will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For my short range (no turn neck) I do the same as you - .268 bushing sized 2/3 down the neck (I'm using Wilson arbor press dies.)

For my long range barrel (.272, I think) I run a .265 bushing, and have had to clean out the action of powder when I didn't time the cease fire correctly. I'm moving away from hard-jammed loads to prevent this.
