Neck bushings. 308 Win Lapua brass

What neck bushings should I get to use with Lapua brass? Factory chamber. I won't be turning necks.

Load a dummy round and measure the neck diameter and subtact at least .002 thou and get that bushing and one smaller .

I know how to measure it,

I'm on a short schedule. I'm buying brass, dies, and bullets all at once. I'd like to order the bushings at the same time.

I normally buy three, one nominally at 1, 2 and 3 thou nominal tension, respectively.

Obviously, what I'm missing is the brass and bullets. Soooo, if someone could tell me what their loaded round measures, or tell me the nominal thickness of the Lapua brass, I'll be good to go.

Greg mine is also .337 with the Sierrra155 bullet only difference I am loading Lapua Palma 308,s. I hope you have the info.you asked for. Tommy Mc..

Mine are measuring .3375-.338 with Sierra Palmas.

335, 336, and maybe 337.

Factory Lapua should be very close to 15 thous neck thickness. So .308+0.030=0.338 ish loaded round. The above mentioned should cover your needs

I use a 336 bushing. Both Palma and LR 308 brass with Berger Hybrids.

Not turning you will need a .337 or .338 depending on how much tension you like.

Some Bergers in new unturned Lapua brass are coming in at .337+ so you could add .334 if you wanted.

If you're not turning necks try the Lee Collett die, pushes neck inconsistencies to the outside.

I use .336 for most everything, a-max's, SMK's, scenars--but the 185 Berger Juggs use 335.
