243 Win, new Lapua brass neck thickness?

What thickness (range) are the necks on new Lapua 243 Win brass? (.012-.013?)

Just trying to figure out which bushings to start with without having to wait for shipping to AK.

Anyone care to share the range of bushings they use with the 243 Win running new Lapua un-turned?

.264-.267?

Pitchfire, you read my mind.

I am building a 6mm Super LR. A Toronto area shop has a good supply of .243 Lapua brass at a reasonable price.

I have .267, .268 and .269 bushings that I used on 60% turned 6AI Win brass. So am wondering if I have to buy other bushings for the Lapua brass.

Hope I get the answer from posts in your thread.

My 243WIN Lapua brass is .0140 - .0155" I neck turn it to .0145" which touches about 50%-60% of the neck surface. I use .269, .270 neck bushings. You'll probably need .270, .271 bushings if you don't plan on neck turning.

Scottharr, how much neck tension are you using? What is the neck diameter on your sized cases before and after seating the bullets?

Thanks
Bill
