Greg, I didn't realize you moved back to NE? Was nice seeing you and Damon duking it out and after meeting Drew I was not suprised he was in that hunt! And the F-O, that was just crazy!!!

No suprise on the feedback for David and Shane, they are both top notch.

It is a killer trophy and this was for 2nd place Resident, it's 12.5" tall... 1st is way kool and larger. The overall winner trophies are awesome as well. When ENGC picked these out, they really put time & effort into it. Some of the nicest ive ever seen and by far nicest I ever earned..Killer trinkets for the gun room....

I had to go back to what worked rather than trying to make something new perform. The final scores were about as tight as it can get, and I'm glad I saved an X for the last shot.

I am so glad the weather cooperated. I could of really done without that threat all week prior.
A big congratulations to all the winners. Hard fought and well deserved.

There are so many people behind the scenes that go unsung.
I want to give a huge shout out to Brandon Pfeifer. That prize table was mostly his doing, and he was a rock star. Greg Taylor, Damon Cali and Brian Bowling also donated as well. Thank you.
Shane created a model that made it so easy to pick up and run with. His work tending this league and championship the last 2 years is fantastic... and he continues to make sure I don't muck it up too bad. Thank you.
Herb "I can't ride a bicycle" McClannan has been steadfast in making sure all the targets and supplies are up to and beyond muster. Next year we look forward to having you back on the line. Thank you.

Most of all, a big thank you to all the shooters who participated. It may have been a state championship, but we had shooters from 7 states come out. This is a community I am extremely proud to be a small part of. Everyone I got the chance to talk to was great.

We have already begun our discussion on what we can do better for next year. Notes are being taken and we are not too big for our britches. If you were there and saw something that could be improved upon, let me know. (minus the line configuration, I know I know, that is getting taken to the bigwigs ASAP)

...and if these scores keep going this way... they may have to start putting a "XXX" ring on the targets...
