Nammo Tactical 5.56 bulk brass

no you are incorrect
ONE MORE TIME: HEADSPACE IS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CHAMBER OF A GUN. it has nothing to do with the cartridge case.
what you described is HEAD CLEARANCE.

GO LOOK UP SAMMI DEFINITIONS.

Aye Aye Captain Correction, but if you want to be literal... Headspace is the empty space between the shoulder of the chamber and cartridge therefore that measurement would be an accurate representation of headspace consistency should this brass fit in a given chamber.

I don't go to SAAMI for the definition of words, but according to SAAMI you are correct. SAAMIs definition is a specific interpretation of the meaning of the word. We are arguing semantics

lol yes semantics...the meaning of words not an opinion.

Like I said, the bullet starts dropping from the support plane (bbl) as soon as it clears the muzzle. :/. ;-)
Translation=moving right along....(yes this is in the correct place.) Heh heh

was not talking to you or your comment.
please stay in context.

IIRC I started this thread, several contributed useful info which is much appreciated. Have a semantics problem with a poster? mebbe consider a PM so as to not dilute the thread.
Now, where's the popcorn?

it is easier to just put you on my ignore list.
you are not in charge even if you start a thread.

Still don't like the PM concept, eh?
Oh puhleeze don't hthrow me in the briar patch.....I'll definitely be in better company.

Got some virgin Lapua brass for the same test. More consistent in weight and length, but less consistent from the base to the middle of the shoulder. Is it worth 4 to 5 times as much... Idk at the moment but I'll be shooting them side by side to get a better idea.

Me too Amigo.

I seated 5 Wolf primers in new Nammo brass before I gave up.
If you have this brass, make sure you have some smaller diameter primers like CCI 450s.

Just finished 500 primed cases from Powder Valley. I’m kicking myself for not ordering more. I shoot highpower rifle and recently had a 9x clean at 300 rapid with it

Internal volume? Anyone made any measurements?

Now that is impressive. Its rewarding when everything falls into line. My hat is off to you.

Sale price alert. Nammo NATO 7.62 brass is on sale at Midway for $35/100 ct. Midway identifies the product as a one time order.

Nammo’s website shows defense industry products it produces that make our match components look elementary.

Way down at the bottom of the homepage - that they don’t beat a drum about, they include the brand symbols of owned names including Lapua, Berger and SK.

Unless the NATO brass is rated for higher pressure, I’m betting that it is made similarly and of no lesser quality than what we normally pay double or more for.

I had the same thought a couple years ago. Bought 4K of 223 from Powder Valley. It was heavier and a tad softer than LC but it was clearly not Lapua. Weight distribution was similar to LC. I didn't check neck thickness, primer pockets or flasholes.

I only ordered 1k. It’s selling below the cost of a bullet. You can’t beat the Palma .308 for TR, and this isn’t it. But I have a Supermatch MIA that is hard on expensive brass but just plain too accurate to feed factory ammo through. Or it would also be great for tactical bolt guns.
