N565 and 280 ackley

Has anyone tried any N565 in a 280 AI? More specifically with 168 Berger’s. It’s supposed to be a touch faster than H1000 but a little slower than N560. I’ve found some but it would be nice to hear some real world experience before I buy it.

I have been using that combo for years, works great for me.

I found better performance with the VVN-560 over the VVN-565. The gain in energy on target was better for the N-560, the efficiency of the powder burn was better, gaining in velocity over the VVN-565.

Sure you can use the VVN-565 but you will find yourself at the low end of the performance range. Yes, dead is dead. We've all heard this tripe before. Improve your performance, accuracy nodes exist at more than one position.

My own experience mirrors that of what Kurz said. N560 a touch better. Nice of Phil from capstone to chime in on this. Use their data before loading any ammo.

N165 works very well in the 280ai and 180hyb
