I messaged them about repairing my gem pro 250. They straight up offered me 150.oo money order, no receipt due to not being able to back up the 30yr warranty.
If I could find the receipt it's full refund.
I found warranty card but no receipt :/
I'm gonna take the 150 and run.
Now I need a good reloading scale. Not another "afordable" one.
I know their are bunches of super ones, I'm not into above 1k but I don't want another like gem pro either.
The lyman have their problems also. What to do, what to do .....
THEY SAY THEY HAVE TROUBLE WITH ALL THEIR STOCK AND WILL NOT BACK THEM!

I had a gempro. Readings were all over the place. Returned it and bought a sartorius and never looked back.

Don't know where ya got that. I've had it 5yrs ..with a 30yr warrenty ....I'm out several hundred ....it was supposed to be a fine one then. They've dropped from the desired now.

I have a GemPro 250 and an A&D FX120i. I have not had any issues with the GemPro 250. Same resolution as my A&D. Both consistently give same readings with check weights.

But I use my RCBS Chargemaster more than anything else. Thrown weights verified on A&D prove to be very consistent. Other folks will tell you they have issues with the CM, but mine has worked flawlessly since day 1.

I'm curious as to how you are "...out several hundred...". It's a $200 scale, you used it for 5 years, and are getting $150 back.

As others have, and will continue to suggest - get an A&D FX120i, and treat yourself to the auto-trickler.

250 needs a little time to warm and settle is all. You can't turn it on and go to work. When I first got mine I would get impatient and go to soon. Now, I turn it on and go about all the other pre work before we ever get to powder drops.

No problem.
I bought one about 5 years ago and it was much less than $350, unless one overpaid in the extreme.
I was going to offer a couple of suggestions on correcting some issues that pop up with the GemPro 250, but I'm busy chilling' out.

If you charged the purchase, even several years ago, a duplicate transaction may be available from the card company.

That being said, a $150 bird in the hand is worth a $200 bird in the bush. Take it and run.

Check out the warranty on whatever you purchase. If a RCBS ChargeMaster, be aware they will hold you to the guarantee on a strict basis. If hadn't purchased it from Brownell's, I would have been SOL.

I hate to say this but ... keep your boxes, returning your stuff is soo much easier if you do... also take a pic with your phone of the contents to facilitate returns.
I hate the collections of boxes I have and since I got a chocolate lab puppy I have lost several of the original boxes I need to return stuff

Agreed, print out all email receipts also !
I got a sartouris ... Tired of the bs I've gotten from three "affordable" scales.

My gem pro was great for pistols but not bench rest center fire.
30.0 may be 29.50 or 30.4 ya never know.

The sart is so accurate but It's like buying a racecar to check the mail !
