Hillside riddled with gh holes. We shall see.
Here's what happened , I never saw one groundhog in 4 hours, talk about frustration this spot has plenty, however 10 minutes before packing it in at the top of the hill appeared a coyote it appeared he was familiar with this field and he was sniffing every hole.The shot which was good was just at 170 yards, boiler room he spun and run over the crest out of sight, he came from the woods to the right. I waited 10 minutes and went looking.He made it about 75 yards over the hill and here's where I found him, look at the girth at this fat boy, he's eating real well hit him 4 inches right of his elbow and midways up,lungs , no exit. This happens every year usually, hunting for denning pups.Not a waste by any means but I had to pack it in.
