I know this is a gun forum but I have to share this. Son started deer hunting with me in 2014 and this is his 6'th deer! Kid is showing me up! This is his second year of bow hunting and he sure set the bar high with this buck!
Brandon had a mandatory work meeting Saturday at 8 AM so we left for our WV property around 9 AM. We arrived at 11:30 ate some lunch and headed to the woods. Saturday was the last day of fall turkey season so I decided I would turkey hunt. Brandon texted me around 2:30, I'm a little cold and hungry and cold. I said I will meet you at the cabin. Brandon didn't see any deer so he went to another tree stand at 3:30 and 10-15 minutes later calls me and said I shot the split brow time buck! Couldn't understand him at first from the adrenaline rush. Buck ran 80-100 yds leaving a massive blood trail. Dragging it out was miserable getting through the multi flora rose and then is was an up hill drag.
