I like the ol’ hand cranked funnel trickler and my uniflow. My hands are calibrated to trickle better than a machine at this point. Haha.
That was the first thing I checkedOccam's razor.
Check the power supply first. (check the the simplest explanation first )
Bills suck. Always have.....always will. They'll lose this game and I can finally have peace.BackFire likes the Hornady. My Local Scheels has them. It's going to have to wait because the Bills vs Ravens game is on LOL

That is not technically correct. Most modern power supplies don't have electrolytic capacitors. This type of capacitor is very prone to failure.
I left mine on most of the time. Was that a contributing factor to its demise? That is not technically correct.
All DC PSU's have electrolytics of one sort or another and when the PSU is well designed they give many years of service.
There was a time a couple decades ago when the was a capacitor plague of failures when manufacturers went to low cost electrolytic solution and it gave electrolytic caps universally a bad name.
Trouble is PSU manufactures are always trying to save a few cents on their BOM cost which always transpires into poor service life.
My CM PSU remains OFF until I need to use it and while the CM is warming up there is always a few things that require a tidy up at the bench.
Those dang FX 120 with s work so bad they sell thousands of them and make thousands of people upset. IncredibleI have ordered two autotricklers with FX-120i and sent both of them back. One would have required several hundred dollars in equipment to bring online, and the other didn’t work at all. They’re out for me. The FX is a good scale, but I wouldn’t own an autotrickler if it was given to me.
If you can afford the Super Trickler or Ingenuity, then by all means go for it.
I am using the RCBS Matchmaster now ($900) and after carefully adjusting the transport screw and wiping the unit down with a used dryer sheet, I get single kernel of Varget accuracy, or about 2 kernels of N135. It does take a few more seconds than the Super Trickler, but I don’t care at all. It’s excellent.
I thought it was a bit slow to unload the first time, but after using it a few times, it’s plenty easy.
My exact way until very recently. Bought a used Dandy Trickler here and it is money well spent.I like the ol’ hand cranked funnel trickler and my uniflow. My hands are calibrated to trickle better than a machine at this point. Haha.
I don’t think you read my post thoroughly. Those dang FX 120 with s work so bad they sell thousands of them and make thousands of people upset. Incredible
As I said there are thousands of un happy users of the auto tricklers like the V4 and fix 120. Ha HaI don’t think you read my post thoroughly.
The FX was fine. The tricklers were the problem.
Quite possibly.I left mine on most of the time. Was that a contributing factor to its demise?
Do the newer models allow you to change the settings for dispensing? I have tweaked my old Chargemaster 1500 to suite the powder I mainly use. Dispense time may have increased some but, the accuracy has improved.I bought the Chargemaster Link a few months ago and got about 1200 or so rounds through it and it has worked flawlessly. I was even kinda surprised at the very few times it had overcharged, with ball or extruded powders.
My original 1500 quit and a call to RCBS proved 50/50. The tech advised only one year warranty on electronics and they didn't have parts for the 1500 anyway. Said was likely a Wall mwart problem so I got out my trusty VO meter (I trust this is how you verified yours good?) and did some checking. He emailed me a link to the proper Wall wart on Amazon and the issue was resolved for $20.That was the first thing I checked

The Chargemaster Link like I have is basically their base model. There are not settings to adjust anything that I’m aware of. Just calibrate, enter you weight and press go. But it makes reloading so much easier either way.Do the newer models allow you to change the settings for dispensing? I have tweaked my old Chargemaster 1500 to suite the powder I mainly use. Yea I’m sure when it won’t power on it’s me… fool was appropriate.Operator error
Twice? You folks that can't use a AT are something else too...Yea I’m sure when it won’t power on it’s me… fool was appropriate.
You fanboys are something else.
Mine had issues, was able to fix it, see this link, has some good info. I put in some photos of what I worked on, it was a cold solder joint, now it works, free fix if you have a soldering gun and some time.I've had my Charge Master for, I think, 15 years. It just quit. I plugged it into another outlet, and Nothing happened. 15 years is pretty good.
What are you all using? How are the RCBS Chargemasters currently on the store shelves?
