My new Super Beast brake

Well I finally got the newest of the litter done. It's a big SOB as you can see in the picture. On the left is a APA Fat Bastard and on the right is a T-4 Terminator. It's 1.235" diameter and 3.52" long. Weighs 7.2 ounces with 5/8x24 threads. BTW for reference a FB weighs 6.5oz and a T-4 Terminator weighs 7.4oz. That's a lot of weight removal considering the blanks weigh well over a pound to start.

As soon as they print my new sticker for my test sled and the weather cooperates I'll take it for a test run on the 338 Lapua and 300wm.

Here is another comparison of a Little Bastard, Fat Bastard, my Beast 4 port, my Beast 5 port, my Super Beast, a T-4 Terminator, and a T-3 Terminator.

Where do I sign up for a T-4 5 port Terminator for my 338LM Improved? I'm thinking 3/4 thread

Nice, I'm over a dozen Beast brakes installed and I'm liking them a lot, I probably put 50+ brakes on a year and can install anything I want on my own rifle but it wears a Beast brake now, I really like how it holds the muzzle down in what seems like a passive manner.

Those look awesome! For those that have angled ports, are they intended to be oriented for the blast to be directed down or up?

Sorry I just don't see the practical reason to have anything like this at all cant shoot anyone of these in the competition that I shoot.

I can shoot them all day long in the shoots I shoot. They really help you acquire the target a lot faster when it's moving for follow up shots.

The upper part of the port angles forward, bottom rearward.

People don't understand this until they try them and it's hard to explain the difference but there is a big difference. Brakes with top holes typically create too much down thrust and brakes without anything don't do enough to control the muzzle rise.
