My new smallbore prone rig

Just wanted to share a few pics of my new Anschutz. The barreled action is the latest 54.30 design. The laminate stock was made by the world-class shooter and all-around good guy, Carl Bernosky. Warner rear sight (with 1/8 min clicks) and front is a Rightsight. This new gun replaces my other Anschutz (a 1611 "X" rifle) shown in the one pic below. Haven't started ammo testing yet, but early indications are that this is going to be one sweet shooter.

Sweet setup. You should send it to one of test centers to see what ammo it likes.

Thanks Recko. And, yes, sending the rifle out for ammo testing to either the Lapua or Eley test center would save time, without a doubt. I know a few shooters who have done that and they all seem to be happy with the results. We'll see...

want to sell that old unused 1611

At the moment, I plan to hold on to my 1611. However, I've got a very nice H&R M12 that I will be putting up for sale shortly, once I get some free time. This was my backup for the 1611. Here's a pic.

Are you going to the 6400?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make those "four days of shooting fun" this year. 8^( It's certainly a great match, well run, with the best competition that you'll find anywhere.

And, wishing you guys the best with the upcoming ASSA match in OH. Thanks for all that you do in promoting smallbore shooting!
