My new Shilen trigger!

I bit the bullet and bought the basic Shilen trigger from Brownells and I installed it with a little trepidation, but I truly prefer it to the stock Remington that I removed. I was able to reuse the safety and bolt release. The install was a bit tedious due to a visit from Mr Arthur Itis in the fingers but I got it done. The trigger measured at a pretty consistant 1.5 pounds using my Lyman digital trigger pull tester. I went to the range to test it and I am quite happy with it. For a prone rifle using my sling it should be perfect.

Good for you John,I love mine and it is crisp with no creep whatsoever. I hope your groups get better.

Shilen has supposedly re done the tooling or process or whatever machining upgrade for the shilen triggers and they are fantastic! I have a couple of there 2oz triggers and they are every bit as good as a jewel. The sears are machined very very well. They are simply fantastic!!! I highly recommend them!! Lee
