My New Marine

Congratulations. I graduated from MCRD San Diego and later returned as a Drill Instructor, your son has a lot he will want to tell and show you about what he accomplished. Remember two things about Marines. 1) They can clean anything spotless so give him your firearms and tell him to get them clean. 2) Marines have been known to damage ball bearings while they are locked inside of a padded room with nothing but a ball bearing, so supervise him while he cleans your firearms.

Wes,

Congratulations to you and your son! A job well done.

My wife and I attended the graduation ceremony at the SanDiego MCRD in 2003 for our son. It is indeed a very proud moment for mom and dad, and emotional as well!

May God bless him and keep him. Thank him for us for his service to our country. These young guys are on the front line to insure the preservation of our God given rights.

We just put him on a plane to go back to Camp Pendleton to finish his training. He then goes to VA for his MOS. Thank you all for the kind words.
