Over the last few months, Victor and I have become quite close, learning a lot about each other. Well actually me learning about him. He doesn't seem to want to change much to suit me!
For a number of years I've been working in a shop not far from my home, among other things running a vertical mill and a lathe. There was also a great deal of specialized production machinery. I had nothing to do with production, my work is all custom fabrication and design for the steel industry. Our production got shut down, our building sold and I was moved in to a tool room at one of our sister companies. That Victor lathe is where I do the majority of my work. There are also a number of mills, and drill presses, band saws, a woodworking shop...most of these tools are from the '70s and '80s I guess. Here's a few pictures of some of them.
Not gunsmithing I know, but engineering? Just thought some of you might like to see where I work. Seems like some of you are into machines.
