My new Bald Eagle Rest Baseplate

I shot for the first time the other day with the plate. Oh my... totally better. The Shadetree top is due in the mail today.

I will update when i find out when the plates will be ready for sale.

My friend that had sent out the plates to get cut is having a very difficult time in his job. I guess I am going to have to find a new vendor.

"Separate flat boards or plates not exceeding the dimensions of the individual rests by two inches are allowed to be placed under the front and/or rear rests. See Rule 3.4.1(a)(1). No leveling screws or protrusions are allowed on these boards or plates. They must be flat on the top and bottom."

Do the leveling screws violate this rule?

SEPARATE.

These are not separate. It is all one piece. You are not understanding the rule.

Maybe you should have explained that the rest is fastened to the plate by mechanical means. I see nothing in the posts or pictures that explains that.

Urbanrifleman are you still thinking about making these base plates? I am also curious how well you like your shadetree joystick top plate?

I wanted to make my Bald Eagle way more stable so I made this base. It is 1/2" steel plate. It adds 22 lbs. Man, is it nice. I even like my paint job, it is a whole can of Rustoleum hammered finish bronze rattle can cooked in my gas grill. It looks powder coated.

Considering how many people have bought the Grizzly Bald Eagle rest, I thought maybe I might make a run of these. We could make them here in Tulsa.
