I bought the Big 50 windage rest from Bald Eagle. It probably weighs about as much as the smaller rest with a baseplate.
I was thinking about making a custom road case for it with plywood and Penn Elcom ATA case extrusions. It would have wheels and a handle like a carry on roller suitcase but have a lid style front with feet that you could lay face down on a bench, unlatch and lift the rest of the case off of it, leaving the rest nearly ready to shoot from.
