My new annealing machine

I just finished this machine and it works like a charm.

Hi JP,
Dual torches are good on other some other models to distribute the heat around the neck or to get longer exposure time on the constant motion models. On this model the case turns in the flame so i do not see a real need for a secondary torch. However, if you want two or more torches i would be more than happy to add brackets for them.

I have tested down to .22 hornet, but anything that sticks out above the plate (21mm or 7/8") should work fine. If you have a specific case in mind that does not fit, i can just make up a special wheel for you.

Thanks for the quick reply baboonstalker. I shoot a 6 Dasher, 6.5-284 Shehane and a 300 Win. mag. will the one plate take care of all three are will need to get different plates?

By far the nicest annealer I have seen so far. I love the small, easy to store size.

I'm impressed by the evident thought that went into the design too.

Please let us all know what your price point will be once you decide whether to produce these for general sales.

I anneal one case at a time now, it doesn't take me that long to do a large batch but if I had one of these it'd free up time for some other task....

(I have to ask what you do with your engineering talent and machine time when you're not building these things?)

If the cam advances the wheel 2 holes, why the extra holes?

If there was a way to load more in the queue (a hopper?) it would be helpful.

The wheel can be advanced to the other holes if you want to do smaller cases. Slacken the two thumbscrews on top of the carousel and advance the wheel so the other slots line up. Look at the pic, you will see how it works.
